WHY EMPLOYEES LEAVE ORGANIZATIONS? - Azim Premji, Wipro
Every company faces the problem of people leaving the company for better pay or profile. Early this year, Arun, a senior software designer, got an offer from a prestigious international firm to work in its India operations developing specialized software. He was thrilled by the offer. He had heard a lot about the CEO. The salary was great. The company had all the right systems in place employee-friendly human resources (HR) policies, a spanking new office, and the very best technology, even a canteen that served superb food. Twice Arun was sent abroad for training. "My learning curve is the sharpest it's ever been," he said soon after he joined. Last week, less than eight months after he joined, Arun walked out of the job.
Why did this talented employee leave?
Arun quit for the same reason that drives many good people away. The answer lies in one of the largest studies undertaken by the Gallup Organization. The study surveyed over a million employees and 80,000 managers and was published in a book called "First Break All The Rules". It came up with this surprising finding:
If you're losing good people, look to their immediate boss. Immediate boss is the reason people stay and thrive in an organization. And he's the reason why people leave. When people leave they take knowledge, experience and contacts with them, straight to the competition.
"People leave managers not companies," write the authors Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman. Mostly manager drives people away? HR experts say that of all the abuses, employees find humiliation the most intolerable. The first time, an employee may not leave, but a thought has been planted. The second time, that thought gets strengthened. The third time, he looks for another job. When people cannot retort openly in anger, they do so by passive aggression. By digging their heels in and slowing down. By doing only what they are told to do and no more. By omitting to give the boss crucial information. Dev says: "If you work for a jerk, you basically want to get him into trouble. You don 't have your heart and soul in the job." Different managers can stress out employees in different ways - by being too controlling, too suspicious, too pushy, too critical, but they forget that workers are not fixed assets, they are free agents. When this goes on too long, an employee will quit - often over a trivial issue.
Talented men leave. Dead wood doesn't.
"Jack Welch of GE once said. A company's value lies "between the ears of its employees"
If you start to judge people, you will not have time to love them

Gone are the days!!!
When
The school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks and
benches!
When we queued up in book depot,
And got our new books and notes!
When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays,
Yet managed to line up daily for the morning prayers.
We learnt writing with slates and pencils, and
Progressed To fountain pens and ball pens and then Micro tips!
When we began drawing with crayons and evolved to
Color pencils and finally sketch pens!
When we started calculating
first with tables and then with
Clarke's tables and advanced to
Calculators and computers!
When we chased one another in the
corridors in Intervals, and returned to the classrooms
Drenched in sweat!
When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors,
Playgrounds,
under the trees and even in cycle sheds!
When all the colors in the world,
Decorated the campus on the Second Saturdays!
When a single P.T. period in the week's Time Table,
Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons!
When cricket was played with writing pads as bats,
And Neckties and socks rolled into balls!
When few played
"kabadi" and "Kho-Kho" in scorching sun,
While others simply played
"book cricket" in the
Confines of classroom!
Of fights but no conspiracies,
Of Competitions but seldom jealousy!
When we used to
watch Live Cricket telecast,
In the opposite house in Intervals and Lunch breaks!
When few rushed at 3:45 to
"Conquer" window seats in our School bus!
While few others had "Big Fun", "peppermint",
"kulfi", " milk ice !" and "sharbat !" at 4o Clock!
Gone are the days
Of Sports Day,
and the annual School Day ,
And the one-month long
preparations for them.
Gone are the days
Of the stressful Quarterly,
Half Yearly and Annual Exams, And the most
enjoyed holidays after them!
Gone are the days
Of tenth and twelfth standards, when
We Spent almost the whole year writing revision tests!
We learnt,
We enjoyed,
We played,
We won,
We lost,
We laughed,
We cried,
We fought,
We thought.
With so much fun in them, so many friends,
So much experience, all this and more!
Gone are the days
When we used
to talk for hours with our friends!
Now we don't have time to say a 'Hi'!
Gone are the days
When we played games on the road!
Now we
Code on the road with laptop!
Gone are the days
When we saw stars
Shining at Night!
Now we see stars when our code doesn't
Work!
Gone are the days
When we sat to chat with Friends on grounds!
Now we chat in chat rooms.....!
Gone are the days
Where we
studied just to pass!
Now we study to save our job!
Gone are the days
Where we had no money in our pockets and still fun filled on our hearts!!
Now we have the atm as well as credit card but with an empty heart!!
Gone are the days
Where we shouted on the road!
Now we don't shout even at home
Gone are the days
Where we got lectures from all!
Now we give lectures to all... like the one I'm doing now....!!
Gone are the days
But not the memories, which will be
Lingering in our hearts for ever and ever and
Ever and ever and ever .....
Gone are the Days.... But still there are lot more Days to come in our Life!!
DONT FORGET TO
LIVE THE LIFE THAT STILL
EXISTS....

Actor Vijay ! Oh My God !
ILAYA THALAPATHY or Vijay started his acting career at the age of 18 under his father's direction. Though it was a worst flop , his father's intelligence made him to act along with glamour queens like sanghavi, yuvarani and swathi in the future films so that audience may see his ugly son with these girls to make the film a hit one.
Out of his 45 films ("Azhagiya Thamizhmagan is his 46th film) 9 movies have been directed by his father including his first four films and around 6 to 7 films are flop in that.
Vijay has a very bad colour and complexion. he doesn't have a muscular body. Most of his films ran not for vijay but for its directors and story.
Vijay is popularly known as "COPY CAT" of the tamil industy as most of his films are remakes from telugu, malayalam and hindi ( As far he copied 8 movies from telugu, 2 movies from malayalam , 2 movies from hindi(as Azhagiya thamizhmagan may be a remake of "bluffmaster")
How vijay make his latest movies?
1. watching any hit movies either in telugu(maximum) or hindi or Malayalam, if it becomes hit , get the rights and
remake it in tamil.
2. creating buildup songs in the opening sequence and having lyrics like neeyum nanum anna thambida..., naalaki neeyum C.M than...., vaada vaada thozha.. (as similar to rajini's songs)
3. Scripting punch dialogues in then and there of the film like naa orutharava commit ayitana....., oruku vena nee maas enaku thoosu,
4. Making dappakuthu songs and copying song from chiranjeevi movies or telugu films.
HIS CAREER RECORD:
SUPER HITS - 9
HITS - 6
AVERAGE - 3
BELOW AVERAGE- 5
FLOPS - 10
WORST FLOPS - 12
SUCCESS % - 30 -40%(Super star has 90% success percentage)
So vijay has no eligibility to become the next "SUPER STAR"( as he tries to be). So better he act properly in an original script( no remakes) to continue his career properly. his career history is below
