2005,2006, 2007 and 2008 was when.........
when we got a job.........
when we passed out of college....
when we made new amazing friends.....
when some of us moved to a new city.....
When some of us celebrated our 21st - 25th birthdays.....
When we waved good bye to our buddies leaving to the states for higher
studies...
when some of us fell in love........
when some of us fell out of love
when some of us got hurt
when some of your 'friends' screwed up your love life.
when some 'one' you liked, did not like 'you'..
when we would have made mistakes
when we made life decisions.......
when these decisions turned out to be a tragedy
when some of us felt lonely ....
when some of us made an amazing friends in a new city
when some of us would have learnt to be stronger.....
when some of us would have realized that everything happens for a
reason.....
when some of us let out our anger.....
when some of us never opened up to our friends about how we felt.... when
some of us felt so glad and happy to be the way they are..... when we go
out everyday and meet up with our friends...
when we had serious talks with our dad about our future.....
when we missed each other when we were at hometown.....
when we missed our mom here ...
when we cried for each other ...
When we celebrated our first Christmas with our friends ..
When we were jobless all the time in office ....
When we walked around the streets late in the night ..
When we put budget for the next month (but strictly not following it) Last
year has taken us through all our ups and downs we faced in our life...

2009.......one more year.....A year to....
To find our life partner (might be)
to forget old crushes.
to smile........
to let people know how much u care...
to learn from our mistakes.......
to cry when we are feeling down.....
to follow our dreams.......
to fight against everything for our dreams to come true.....
to be more confident.........

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Below are the Interview Questions, which were asked in HR Round.....

Question 1: You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night,
it's raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for a bus:

An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
An old friend who once saved your life.
The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to,
knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

* You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first;

* or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to ! pay him back.

* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. Guess what was his answer?

He simply answered:

"I would give the car keys to my Old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital.
I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations. Never forget to "Think Outside the Box."

Question 2: What will you do if I run away with your sister?"

The candidate who was selected answered " I will not get a better match for my sister than you sir"

Question 3: Interviewer (to a student girl candidate) - What is one morning you woke up & found that you were pregnant.

Girl - I will be very excited and take an off, to celebrate with my husband.

Normally an unmarried girl will be shocked to hear this, but she managed it well. Why I should think it in the wrong way, she said later when asked

Question 4: Interviewer: He ordered a cup of coffee for the candidate.
Coffee arrived kept before the candidate, then he asked what is before you?

Candidate: Instantly replied "Tea"

He got selected.

You know how and why did he say "TEA" when he knows very well that coffee was kept before.

(Answer: The question was "What is before you (U - alphabet)
Reply was "TEA" ( T - alphabet)

Alphabet "T" was before Alphabet "U"

Question 5: Where Lord Rama would have celebrated his "First Diwali"?
People will start thinking of Ayodya, Mitila [Janaki's place], Lanka etc...

But the logic is, Diwali was a celebrated as a mark of Lord Krishna Killing Narakasura.
In Dusavataar, Krishnavathaar comes after Raamavathaar.

So, Lord Rama would not have celebrated the Diwali At all!

Question 6: The interviewer asked to the candidate "This is your last question of the interview.
Please tell me the exact position of the center of this table where u have kept your files."

Candidate confidently put one of his finger at some point at the table and told that this was the central point at the table.
Interviewer asked how did u get to know that this being the central point of this table,
then he answers quickly that sir u r not likely to ask any more question, as it was the last question that u promised to ask.....

And hence, he was selected as because of his quick-wittedness. ........

THE LAW OF PERPETUAL TRANSMUTATION

So if you don't understand something that just means you are not dancing at the same rhythm.

Everything that happens good or bad is a result of an action that lead to an event, whether it be by you or someone else. It is terribly egotistic to think that you are the first person to experience or feel a certain way. The truth is, you were never the first and you won't be the last. Understand that and the world becomes a fair place to play.

THE LAW OF GENDER:
Everything has a period of incubation, there is nothing new . Everything including myself is in a different stage of development or maturation. Remember that each stage helps you get to the next, good or bad.

NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE !!!!

An old man lived alone in Minnesota . He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation:

Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.

Shortly, the old man received this telegram:

'For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden!! That's where I buried the GUNS!!'

At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asked him what to do next.

Letter to Prime minister

Dear Mr. Prime minister

I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train compartment which has capacity of
100 persons, I travel with 500 more mouse. Mouse at least squeak but we don't even
do that.

Today I heard your speech. In which you said 'NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED'. I would
like to remind you that fourteen years has passed since serial bomb blast in Mumbai took
place. Dawood was the main conspirator. Till today he is not caught. All our bolywood
actors, our builders, our Gutka king meets him but your Government can not catch him.
Reason is simple; all your ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made
to catch him everybody will be exposed. Your statement 'NOBODY WOULD BE SPARED'
is nothing but a cruel joke on this unfortunate people of India.

Enough is enough. As such after seeing terrorist attack carried out by about a dozen young
boys I realize that if same thing continues days are not away when terrorist will attack by air,
destroy our nuclear reactor and there will be one more Hiroshima.

We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb. You promised
Mumbaikar Shanghai what you have given us is Jalianwala Baug.

Today only your home minister resigned. What took you so long to kick out this joker? Only
reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family. Loyalty to Gandhi family is more important
than blood of innocent people, isn't it?

I am born and bought up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years. Believe me corruption in
Maharashtra is worse than that in Bihar. Look at all the politician, Sharad Pawar, Chagan
Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray , Gopinath Munde, Raj Thackray, Vilasrao Deshmukh
all are rolling in money. Vilasrao Deshmukh is one of the worst Chief minister I have seen.
His only business is to increase the FSI every other day, make money and send it to Delhi
so Congress can fight next election. Now the clown has found new way and will increase FSI
for fisherman so they can build concrete house right on sea shore. Next time terrorist can
comfortably live in those house , enjoy the beauty of sea and then attack the Mumbai at
their will.

Recently I had to purchase house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen builders. Everybody
wanted about 30% in black. A common person like me knows this and with all your
intelligent agency & CBI you and your finance minister are not aware of it. Where all the
black money goes? To the underworld isn't it? Our politicians take help of these goondas
to vacate people by force. I myself was victim of it. If you have time please come to me,

I will tell you everything.

If this has been land of fools, idiots then I would not have ever cared to write you this
letter. Just see the tragedy, on one side we are reaching moon, people are so intelligent
and on other side you politician has converted nectar into deadly poison. I am everything
Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Schedule caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian Schedule caste,
Creamy Schedule caste only what I am not is INDIAN. You politician have raped every
part of mother India by your policy of divide and rule.

Take example of former president Abdul Kalam. Such a intelligent person, such a fine
human being. You politician didn't even spare him. Your party along with opposition
joined the hands, because politician feels they are supreme and there is no place for
good person.

Dear Mr Prime minister you are one of the most intelligent person, most learned person.
Just wake up, be a real SARDAR. First and foremost expose all selfish politician. Ask
Swiss bank to give name of all Indian account holder. Give reins of CBI to independent
agency. Let them find wolf among us. There will be political upheaval but that will better
than dance of death which we are witnessing every day. Just give us ambient where we can
work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of law. Everything else will be taken
care of.

Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister. Do you want to be lead by one person or you want
to lead the nation of 100 Crore people?

Section 49-O of our Constitution - Read before you Vote

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public....

Please spread this news to as many as you know... Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on...

Secret of successful marriage

Once upon a time a married couple celebrated their 25th marriage anniversary.
They had become famous in the city for not having a single conflict in their period of 25 years.
Local newspaper editors had gathered at the occasion to find out the secret of their well known 'happy going marriage'.

Editor: ' Sir. It's amazingly unbelievable. How did you make this possible? '
Husband recalling his old honeymoon days said:

' We had been to Shimla for honeymoon after marriage.
Having selected the horse riding finally, we both started the ride on different horses.
My horse was pretty okay but the horse on which my wife was riding seemed to be a crazy one.

On the way ahead, that horse jumped suddenly, making my wife topple over.
Recovering her position from the ground, she patted the horse's back and said 'This is your first time'.

She again climbed the horse and continued with the ride. After a while, it happened again.
This time she again kept calm and said 'This is your second time' and continued.
When the horse dropped her third time, she silently took out the revolver from the purse and shot the horse dead !!

I shouted at my wife: 'What did you do you psycho. You killed the poor animal. Are you crazy?'

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight, and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them.

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. (Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)

3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimers!

4. Enjoy the simple things

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

And if you have a friend who mak es you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with him or her!

6. The tears happen:
Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourself. LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

WIFE's DIARY

Sunday night - I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a cafe to have some coffee. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment. Conversation wasn't flowing so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk, he agreed but his mind was far away. I asked him what was wrong - he said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said it had nothing to do with me and not to worry. On the way home I told him that I loved him, he simply smiled and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior; I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love u, too.' When we got home I felt as if I had lost him, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there and watched TV; he seemed distant and absent. Finally I decided to go to bed. About 10 minutes later he came to bed. I decided that I could not take it anymore, so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep. I started crying and cried until I too fell asleep. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

சேலம்-கரூர் இருப்புப்பாதைத் திட்டம் அடுத்த நூற்றாண்டிலாவது முடியுமா?

சேலம் ‍‍‍ கரூர் இருப்புப்பாதைத் திட்டம் 1996-97ம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கான தொடர்வண்டித்துறை நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. இத்திட்டத்தின் முக்கிய நோக்கம் சேலம்‍-நாமக்கல்-கரூர் நகரங்களை இணைப்பதாகும். தற்சமயம் முக்கிய மாவட்டத்தலைநகரமான நாமக்கல் நகரத்தில் தொடர்வண்டிநிலையமோ இருப்புப் பாதையோ இல்லை.

இத்திட்டத்துக்கான அடிக்கல் அப்போதைய மத்திய தொடர்வண்டித்துறை அமைச்சர் நிதிஷ்குமார் அவர்களால் 1998ம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் மாதம் 25ம் திகதி நாட்டப்பட்டது.

இந்த இருப்புப்பாதையின் மொத்த தூரம் 85 கிமீ. இதனால சேலம், மல்லூர், ராசிபுரம், நாமக்கல், மோகனூர், கரூர் ஆகிய நகரங்கள் இணைக்கப்படும். திட்டத்துக்கான மொத்த செலவு 136 கோடி இந்திய ரூபாய்கள் ஆகும். இதில் முக்கியமாக காவேரி ஆற்றின் குறுக்கில் மோகனூரையும் வாங்க‌ல் ஊரையும் இணைக்கும் வகையில் ஒரு பாலம் கட்ட வேண்டும்.

தற்சமயம் தென்மாவட்டங்களிலிருந்து வரும் புகைவண்டிகள் சேலம் செல்வதற்கு கரூரிலிருந்து ஈரோடு சென்று அங்கிருந்து சேலம் செல்லவேண்டும். இதனால் கூடுதலாக 45கிமீ தூரமும் கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒருமணிநேரம் கூடுதலாகவும் ஆகும்.

சரி இவ்வளவு வருடங்கள் ஆகிவிட்டதே இந்தத் திட்டம் முடிந்து புகைவண்டிகள் ஓட ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டதா என்றால் இன்னும் இல்லை. :(. காரணம் கூறுகெட்ட அரசாங்கம் செய்த ஒரு செயல் தான்.
இந்தத் திட்டத்துக்குத் தேவையான நிலங்கள் ‍ பெரும்பாலும் விவசாயிகள் ‍ இடமிருந்து கையகப்படுத்தும் போது அரசாங்கம் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்க முன்வந்த தொகை-அதிகமில்லை ஜென்டில்மென்-ஒரு சதுராடிக்கு 0.63 பைசா. (இவனுங்களுக்கெல்லாம் மனசாட்சியே இல்லையா?)

காவேரி ஆற்றுப் படுகையில் அமைந்திருக்கும் வளம் கொழிக்கும் நிலங்களை இப்படிக் கேவலமான் முறையில் விவசாயிகளிடமிருந்து பெற்று விடலாம் என எண்ணியிருந்த நேரத்தில் இதை எதிர்த்துப் பலரும் தனித்தனியாக வழக்குத் தொடர்ந்ததால் திட்டம் ஒத்திவைக்கப்பட்டது.

பின்னர் நாமக்கல் நீதிமன்றம் ஒரு சதுர அடி ரூ211 என்ற விலையில் அரசாங்கம் பெற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று தீர்ப்புக் கூறியது. இருப்பினும் மேலும் சில வழக்குகளை விவசாயிகள் தொடர்ந்ததால் இத்திட்டம் காலவரையற்று ஒத்தி வைக்கப்பட்டு பல வருடங்களாக தொடர்வண்டித்துறை நிதிநிலை அறிக்கையில் ஏதும் நிதி ஒதுக்கப்படவில்லை.

கடந்த வருடம் நிதி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டு மத்திய இணை அமைச்சர் வேலு தெரிவிக்கையில் சுமுகமான முறையில் திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் என்று தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.

ஒரு சில அதிகாரிகளஇன் பொறுப்பற்றதனத்தால் தேவையில்லாத வழக்குகள் போடப்பட்டு திட்டம் தாமதமானதுடன் இன்னும் செயல்படுத்தப்படவும் இல்லை என்பதுதான் வருந்தத்தக்கது.

நாமக்கல், மோகனூர் சுற்றுவட்டார நண்பர்கள் வருத்தத்துடன் இத்தகைய தகவ்ல்களைத் தெரிவித்ததால் இதை எழுதும் எண்ணம் ஏற்பட்டது.

   தட்டச்சு முறை தெரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற அவசியமில்லை. சாதாரணமாக
   ஆங்கில தட்டச்சு முறை தெரிந்திருந்தாலே போதும். உதாரணமாக ஆங்கிலத்தில்
   'anbu' என்று தட்டச்சு செய்தால் இந்தத் தமிழ் எழுதி அதை 'அன்பு' என்று
   மாற்றித்தறும்.  பொதுவாக ஆங்கில தட்டச்சு முறை மட்டும்
   தெரிந்தவர்கள் 'தமிழ்-ஆங்கிலம்' முறையையும் 'தமிழ் தட்டச்சு' முறையையும்
   தெரிவு செய்து பயன்படுத்தவும். </font>

<li><font size="2">இடையில் ஆங்கில எழுத்துக்களை வரவழைக்க F12 -ஐ அழுத்தவும்.
மீண்டும் F12 - ஐ அழுத்தும் போது பழைய முறையப் பெறலாம். </font></li>

தமிழ் - thamiz,   அழகு - azaku</font></li>
